An idea...

So today I had an idea...
I am spending a lot of time with my computer, playing with Hero Arts digital images in Word. While I was pondering a card design, I suddenly realised I could make my own text paper... I can't believe I've never thought of this before.  I've actually been BUYING patterned paper with text print.
So I downloaded a short extract from an online version of 'The Secret Garden', copied it into Word, chose a font I liked and changed the colour.  I'm so pleased with myself :)
Thanks Butterfly

Hi Lucy,
I am loving all your digital cards! I would love a copy of the word document. Can you believe I have tried to download one of the freebies from 2 peas and I just don't get it? Have no idea where the file goes. Thanks!

Lucy, what an ingenious idea!! Why use someone else's idea of words when you can do your own? (smacking myself in the forehead) :)

I love that book and would love to have a copy of the text. Thanks!

Hi Lucy! Your cards are awesome as always! This text idea is really great! I'd love to have a copy, please! I was always struggling with the idea of getting a book and tearing it only for card's purpose, I'm too much a book lover... And I'd also love some help with the "penguin flipping" ;-) My mail is adpfister@gmail.com Thank you so much!

I am so going to have to give that ago, as I can't stand tearing up books for the text. Even though I love that look (daft aren't I). Thanks so much for the idea. BTW your cards are stunning, that green flourish is gorgeous & the butterfly looks so lifelike.

Hi Lucy.
Thanks so much for the tip. I tried it and it is AWESOME! the possibilities are endless. By changing the font you can get just about any look you want, without having to hunt down old books and tear them up. I just don't have the heart to do it.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd love a copy of the text you have.

Oh, and I almost forgot...these cards are stunning, that new nesties label is so stylish.

Lucy, you are a genius. I too make my own text background paper but I usually personalise the message and incorporate the person's name, to whom I am giving the card. I would never have thought of copying actual text I feel this is like a piece of string now.... Thank you thank you and thank you. I am a Brit here in the US and I hail from Preston, which is not too far from Manchester. Please keep all your fantastic creations coming. :o)
