An idea...

So today I had an idea...
I am spending a lot of time with my computer, playing with Hero Arts digital images in Word. While I was pondering a card design, I suddenly realised I could make my own text paper... I can't believe I've never thought of this before.  I've actually been BUYING patterned paper with text print.
So I downloaded a short extract from an online version of 'The Secret Garden', copied it into Word, chose a font I liked and changed the colour.  I'm so pleased with myself :)
Thanks Butterfly

  23. Hi Lucy.
Thanks so much for the tip. I tried it and it is AWESOME! the possibilities are endless. By changing the font you can get just about any look you want, without having to hunt down old books and tear them up. I just don't have the heart to do it.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd love a copy of the text you have.

  24. Lucy, you are a genius. I too make my own text background paper but I usually personalise the message and incorporate the person's name, to whom I am giving the card. I would never have thought of copying actual text I feel this is like a piece of string now.... Thank you thank you and thank you. I am a Brit here in the US and I hail from Preston, which is not too far from Manchester. Please keep all your fantastic creations coming. :o)
