Embellish It with Owls!

I was thrilled to see my butterfly bling card on the 'What's Hot' list over at Embellish Magazine's blog.  So of course I had to make a card for the new challenge.  The colours are gorgeous, and the theme... OWLS. :)

Supplies: Stamps (owl, sentiment) and Notecard - Hero Arts; PP - Papertrey Ink and October Afternoon; sewing machine; goggle eyes and buttons (from stash)
For a change, I stamped the owl on the back of the patterned paper, and distressed the edges before piecing him together. I put buttons under the goggle eyes for extra dimension. I added brown stitching and a brown stamped sentiment; I even found brown goggle eyes. :)

    What a fabulous owl card. I love the gentle distressing and of course the buttons beneath the brown googlie eyes. Sensational!
