So I decided to make a card for my own challenge :) Well, I do love glitter. And what better image to glitterise (new word I just created) than Jane's newest digital image. How cute is this cake??!! I tried my Copics again with this card... I LOVE seeing what people can do with Copics, I just wish I could do it too. I am going to practice like crazy now...
Supplies: Image - Squigglefly; Notecard and Sentiment - Hero Arts; PP - Crystal Wilkerson; Glitter - Doodlebug.
As someone who has had trouble with glitter in the past, I thought I'd take this opportunity to share my favourite way of getting glitter to stick so that you don't get sprinkled every time you lift the card up :)
I use Glossy Accents by Ranger instead of regular glue. It works BRILLIANTLY. Much better than anything else I've tried - plus it makes it that tiny bit more 3D. I apply liberally, then sprinkle the glitter on. Before it is dried completely, I gently press it down a tiny bit and tap off the excess. this makes sure it is rock solid.
Hope you can make a glittery card for my challenge - I am so inspired by you all... would love to see what YOU do with glitter.
Love your glittery cake Lucy, when I get a spare moment I will definately have a go at your challenge.

Lucy, what a beautifully delicious card! I loved your glitter tip too-I'm a glue collector (but NOT a sniffer!) Ok, so anyway, I just started using copics as well. I love the smooth strokes and all the colors that blend. I certainly need LOTS of practice! What colors did you use on your cake? It looks fantastic! Great job!
