This Valentine's Day, my love for my new studio has surpassed everything else... My poor husband has been sidelined by my Ikea furniture and yummy carpet. And I love my new view too.
It's been beautiful and sunny tonight and I couldn't resist taking a few photos.
But, the evening sunshine was pouring in, creating shadows and difficulties for the not-very-good photographer (me).
As you can probably tell, my shiny new studio is in my loft. :)
And I LOVE it.
Here is the other end of the room - still a blank canvas.
It's 8 metres long so just wonderful to be in. It is, by a mile, the warmest and nicest room in the house at the moment, as we are doing other works too.
I have space enough for things like this... rows of pretty jars :)
But - it is still a work in progress.
My ribbons for example...
I need a new solution for them :)
I'll share better pictures as I organise and set things up better.
But until then, I hope this has given you a glimpse of why I am so happy. :)
Have a great day.
P.S. This is my 2nd post today - Valentine's card below...
And I'll share my husband's card tomorrow ;)

ReplyDeleteLucy your room is gorgeous and I am so jealous that it's your own and you don't have to share it with anyone else and - I have those tall drawers but the smaller ones wouldn't fit under my work benches (even though I told my Dad I had measured them and that of course they would fit so then we had to take all the boxes back to IKEA) Oh you are going to have a fabulous time creating in there
Love Andrea xx

Oh my goodness, I'm green with envy! I currently craft on my spare room floor but we're moving soon and I'm looking around for inspration for my new craft room - yours is perfect. I showed my un-crafty husband and even he said wow!! I find the Really Useful boxes best for my ribbons, I've got one for each colour, they're really cheap and stack up well, they're not the prettiest though!
