Hi again.
Two posts in three days... wow.
Thought I'd share a card I had published in the May CARDS magazine.
I love aqua with silver and cream...
I'm going to back in my studio soon... I can just FEEL it in my bones.
Happy Weekend - I'm going to enjoy lots of tennis. :)
Supplies
So sweet. Congrats on getting this one picked up - well deserved!
ReplyDeleteTotally makes me wish that we could get 'real' life copies of CARDS over here in the UK. Somehow settling for the digi version doesn't feel quite enough, meanwhile I can tell I'm missing out on the inspiration ;)
Have a lovely weekend, Rx
Lovely! Jo x
ReplyDeleteThe colour combination is fab!!! I agree with the post above about CARDS magazine, I love my digi subscription but really miss pouring through the real pages.

So happy that this is in a popular Magazine laying on the scrappy work stations of many cardmakers. Lol. Congrats. So happy to see your back to blogging and starting to create some more. Losing ones mojo can be hard to get back at times. I know I have been there. Just take care of yourself and the wee one and we will be here waiting. Hugs.

Hi Lucy,
ReplyDeleteAlways love your cards and your style. Hope everything is OK with you and the baby. Wish you all the best, all you need. I understand what you said about the smell. Mine changed too when I was pregnant. Hope everything turns out well! Gr. Leni
This is great Lucy! Congrats on getting published. Good to hear your mojo is starting to come back!

Totally understand about not crafting during pregnancy. It was the smell of paper that made me sick. I couldn't even go to my scrapbook store. It will pass. The card is beautiful. Just found your blog but will keep checking back for new cards.
ReplyDeleteHello Lucy!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well! It's been quite some time since your last post and I'm hoping things are good for you. Hope you are feeling better and that you can enjoy the days! Miss your creations and wishing you all the best!!
Hugs, Wendy
Hi Lucy
ReplyDeleteI had just found your wonderful site when you disappeared into the ups and downs of pregnancy :)
You haven't posted for a while so I hope you are feeling well and your sense of smell returns with your mojo. (Unfortunately, my sense of smell was off for the whole of my pregnancies).
Bless Your Heart Lucy. It will all pass, and then you will have an appetite of a horse and your doctor will be fussing at you, telling you, You are eating for 1 not 2! LOL Not to fear, your craftiness WILL return and you'll be making baby curtains and burb rags between cards. It's ALL good. =D
ReplyDeleteThis is such an adorable creation! I am fascinated with ribbon and flowers. Just looking at the picture in your site I know you have great creations! The flower is gorgeous and in this card, the ribbon made the card sophisticated and the aqua and cream goes perfectly together!
