OK, I know it's a bit early... but come December, I should have my hands rather full (with a tiny person), so I need to get started early this year with Christmas cards. Plus, I couldn't resist playing with some Pink Petticoat digis. :) All the cute images and sentiments on these cards come from their adorable Tiny Christmas Treasures set. I love them. There are 24 images in all, but I chose some of my favourites. :)
To make the cards, I used one single sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" kraft cardstock. First I printed the background - I used Hero Arts Polky Dots Digikit for this, just altered the image to sepia, lightened it a little and printed. Then I put the kraft card back into my printer, arranged the images and sentiments and printed over the polka dots. I printed the images again onto white cardstock for a little paper piecing. Each card is a Hero Arts notecards cut in half. So after adding stitching, I stuck the kraft panels onto the notecards and embellished. So easy. And 8 cards done in next to no time. :) Yay!
Hope you have a nice day planned - I have to make the most of my final day of school holidays - back to work Monday.
Have fun!!
