Hello! Happy Monday. I hope you had as good a day as me. I was back to work after my 6 week summer holiday - and it was lovely. So nice to see everyone, loads of comments on my big 'bump' and generally an all round great day. I am lucky to have a job I love AND a fab hobby (and hubby) to come home to.
This week I'm blogging on the Hero Arts blog. Today I've shared this paper pieced card... LOADS of detailed cutting and paper piecing here, and yes it took ages. :) But I love nothing more than sitting and trimming in front of the TV. :) And how CUTE is the Summer Garden Digikit... there are LOADS of fab images in this digikit, all vintage style. Check out the bench, the trug, that dried flower hanging thing... this is what I want my house and garden to look like. In fact, this card is inspired by my garden which is VERY productive at the moment. We have blackberries, raspberries, apples, potatoes and beans coming out of our ears. (All good for the baby I think!)
Baby's been kicking like crazy all day - I'll take that as a good sign that he/she loves being at school :)
Have a happy day everyone, I'll be back tomorrow.

I love your cards, so clean and elegant :-)
Such a pretty card, Lucy! A kicking baby is a happy baby. . .
Absolutely LOVE this card - love the effect paper piecing gives. So much depth and so much fun... time yes, but your finished effort is well worth it.
Love the color palette. Won't have thought of this.
Gorgeous, love that paper piecing and that image is lovely!
