Frosty Borders

Today I have two cards to share, both made using Hero Arts new Frosty Borders Digikit.
First up, this simple snowman card.  I used the snowman border from the kit, but cut it up and rearranged them into a grid pattern.  The snowflake background is also a border from the kit.  I love the modern look to this stamp.

And on to my second card...
Here I have used the Dot Snowflake border stamp from the kit to create the lovely swirly background to this card.  I also used Hero Arts Flourish Ornament, Very Merry Christmas and Merriest Christmas Wishes stamps.  And the lovely silky crush ribbon and twine is from The Ribbon Girl.

Isn't pool just one of the nicest and freshest colours in the world???

Poinsettia Christmas

I'm back today with a card made from the new Festive Borders Digikit by Hero Arts.
The sweet poinsettia is taken from the kit.  I enlarged it, printed it on cream card and trimmed two out, layering them and adding a button to the centre and two twine bows behind.  The background vine is also a stamp from the Festive Borders kit.  I altered it to sepia before printing onto kraft card.  The edges are inked with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and the sentiment comes from Hero Arts Very Merry Christmas stamp set.

I've been looking for a solid poinsettia stamp for ages, so thanks Hero Arts! :)

Happy Santa!

Hello!
This is my second post of the day... and it's great news.  There is an awesome 25% off sale on all Hero Arts digikits at twopeas today.  And there are four brand new ones available too:
I've got LOADS of cards to share using these kits over the next few days... starting with this pair of cards made using the FABULOUS Holiday Jumble kit.  The kit is based on their Happy Festive Background stamp, but rather than just being the background, they have broken it down so you can use all the different elements separately.  Awesome!!!
On this card, I used both the background stamp, and the Santa stamp.

I coloured Santa with Copics, and added a bit of Stickles to his furs. Oh, and I can't resist goggle eyes. :)

And I love the tree stamp in the kit too.  I decided to make it a bit wonky, cutting up and layering each part with foam adhesive and adding lots of bling. :)  the sentiment is from Hero Arts Get Merry stamp set.
