If you're worried about postage costs with your Christmas cards, hybrid cards could be an option. On this simple card, I used the new Fancy Snowflake Digikit to create a snowy background for my snowman. I just resized it and layered it over some pale blue digi paper. The I just layered over the snowman and the snowy base, both from the Winterize digikit, and the sentiment which is taken from the new Festive Borders kit. After printing, I coloured the scarf and hat for extra brightness and added some simple black stitching for a little texture. Such a simple and totally flat card, easy to mass produce too.
Hope you enjoy your weekend. See you soon.

WOW!!! I love it. I paid some crazy prices for shipping last year so I will be going with a one layered card this year. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, Lucy this is just wonderful! Love the stitching on your snowy hill and you've colored the hat brilliantly!
ReplyDeleteInternational shipping costs are crazy here in Quebec for the cards that are too thick (above 5mm). The idea is good!
