Good morning! And happy new week to you.

Today I have a card that is featured on the Hero Arts blog. It uses some of the new digital patterned papers - both Earth and Blush - and some cute flower dies.  I printed the Blush paper on watercolour paper for added texture. It worked brilliantly.

Just a Note

Is it Friday already??  Unbelievable.  Time is FLYING by since I had Lily.  She's 12 weeks on Sunday... where has it gone?

Anyway, I have a card today featuring 3 of the papers from the new Pool Patterned Papers Digikit by Hero Arts.  Really simple - just some paper layering and this single FAB 'Just a Note' stamp which is great for simple and quick cards.  The 1st layer was printed on Pool layering paper, the second and 3rd on white cardstock.  I love the text paper - I can see endless uses for that!

Well, the house is such a mess.. Lily's been a bit under the weather and has wanted LOTS of cuddles.  Time to start the big tidy up. :)

Beautiful Blue...

Here's a card I made using the new Hero Arts Sea Patterned Papers Digikit, and a gorgeous Hero Arts stamp called Fleurettes.

The gorgeous blue background paper is a digi exclusive.  And I LOVE it.  And I paper pieced the flower which I stamped on some polka dot paper also from the Sea kit and also a digi exclusive.  I added a bit of shading with a coloured pencil for dimension.

Love, Love, LOVE these new kits.  Can you tell??

Thank You Butterfly

Today is a GOOD day.  Hero Arts have FINALLY released some digital papers!!! And I am VERY happy. :)  I love digi papers - they save me so much money. :)  And the ones released are GORGEOUS.  There are 7 different sets in each of the Hero Hues colour schemes: Pool (my favourite), Sunshine, Floral, Blush, Foliage, Earth and Sea.  Each pack has 8 papers in - some from their Designr Paper range, and some exclusively digital papers.
Today I have a card made using a gorgeous paper from the Pool kit combined with a gorgeous stamp from the Greetings cling set.

Believe me, you NEED these kits - and they are a bargain at only $4. :)

Postcard

Hello. It's time for a new Ribbon Girl challenge.

This week, the colours are pink, kraft and cream - probably one of my all time favourite colour combinations. :)

My card features the new Hero Arts Postmarks digikit.  I used all the fun postmark stamps to create the background, and made a little postcard using the Postcard stamp from the kit.  I added a typed sentiment, and some cute Studio Calico butterflies, embellished with Hero Arts buttons and some yummy chocolate button twine.  I finished the card with some delicious Siam Pink Seam Binding.
