Hello!
It's my day over at the Hero Arts blog today, and I have a card set and video to share. The video is all about DIY journaling cards, fitting in with this month's Hero Arts contest theme of making your own embellishments.
My journaling cards were made using 4 different Hero Arts digikits: the butterflies are from the Papillons kit, the lovely script and text stamps are from the Formes and Lettres kit, the grid background is from the Postmarks kit, and the stripes used to soften the grid is from the Rough Stripe kit.
I also used sentiments from the Good Friends stamp set (ooh - it's 50% off HERE).

My first card features patterned paper from Studio Calico's Heyday 6 x 6 Pad, lovely Wavecrest seam binding and sweet pearls.
The next card also uses Heyday paper, and pearls, but I added some pins to the cream seam binding bow.
This card uses paper from Basic Grey's Konnichiwa 6 x 6 pad. Again, I added pearls and pins, along with some white seam binding.
And my final card uses paper from Basic Grey's Plumeria 6 x 6 pad, along with Pink Tulip seam binding and pink pearls.
Head on over to the HA blog to watch the video and get full instructions on how to make the cards.
Have a great day.
