It's time to share my cards for Studio Calico's January kit release: Block Party. I created these cards with the Card Kit, and 2 add on kits: Wildberry Court and Pollard Avenue. All 3 kits are AWESOME.
It's time to share my cards for Studio Calico's January kit release: Block Party. I created these cards with the Card Kit, and 2 add on kits: Wildberry Court and Pollard Avenue. All 3 kits are AWESOME.
Oh, and there are a LOT of cards here today. :)
First up, a card that uses JUST the main Card Kit. The heart woodgrain washi tape in the kit is delicious. I stuck some onto some white card and punched the hearts with my Heartbeat punch.
Next, a girly birthday card featuring elements from all three kits. To soften the colour of the background paper, I stitched a sheet of vellum over it. The vellum is included in the main card kit.
See the alphabet stickers - I coloured them in with a coloured pencil. :)
Now another lovey dovey card, which uses the Wildberry Court kit.
I couldn't resist adding one of those sweet arrows through the tiny heart. :) The hearts have a zig zag resist pattern too. Such fun.
Now a more masculine (???) love card featuring bits from all three kits.
Love that shiny, silvery starry washi tape. And those MME dots.
And finally, a fun card which again features elements from all three kits.
How cute is that chicken, and that egg patterned paper. :)
So there you have it. My first Studio Calico cards.

That's an amazing selection of new cards, Lucy! Hard to say which one is my favourite, but having a to do list saying "Be happy" really appeals to me LOL. Wishing you a happy, healthy and creative 2013!

Hi Lucy, I love all your cards today but have to say hands down the Chicken card is the cutest! ;) Now I'm off to check out these kits lol.
