I'm back today with more cards featuring this week's Hero Arts Twopeas Digikit releases. Today I have cards featuring the Tulip Text kit.
For my first card, I recoloured the image to light green and light pink, did some paper piecing, and die cut into a tag with THIS Hero Arts die. The sentiment is from the other kit released this week, Love in Hearts and Borders.

And my next card... which features the tulip image in sepia on kraft (one of my favourite techniques). :)
I added a stamped sentiment from THIS set, some paper from THIS yummy MME pad, some seam binding and a delicious gem from THIS set. The notebook die is by Papertrey Ink.
Lots of pink today. :)
(Well, I do love making pink cards.)
Have a happy day.

Both cards are so very lovely! That is such a fantastic stamp and you really made it sing!!! I love the stitching, the colors and the fussy cutting on the first one and the watermark effect with that lovely pink ribbon on the second one! Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOK, so PaperCrafts led me astray with the heading that it was stamped and I recognized the stamp so I was going along with it then I saw your supply list after I commented and went back and READ the post and saw that you were using the Digikit! Even cooler since I'm not allergic to the Digikit stamps (I am allergic to the rubber ones.) So nice to see what you can do digitally! Even more wonderful, amazing and lovely!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!! Love both of these :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Lucy!
ReplyDeleteOh Lucy, these couldn't be any prettier or any sweeter! I'm so glad they came out with this digikit because I tried it in Silhouette and your version is much nicer!
