Simon Says Stamp Blog Hop!

Hello, and welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp Early Spring Release Blog Hop. Today, I am joining some of my crafty idols to bring you a ton of inspiration for the new stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp. And believe me when I say these products rock. There are 13 other designers on the hop today - if you have joined in the middle, go to the beginning and do the hop in full. I can guarantee you will enjoy it. And there's giveaways a-plenty too! Yay!
So, here are some of my favourites of the fabulous new products...

And on to my cards!!
Both of my cards today are window cards created with the circle and square dies.
First, a silly card. :)
Can you guess who's hiding behind the window of this card?

I adore this whale from Kelly Purkey's Come Sail Away set. :) And he needed a wiggle eye. :) The paper on the front is from Studio Calico's Classic Calico 2 pad. I added some Bonny Blue Mister Huey's - incidentally, it's a perfect match to Hero Arts' Pool Ink - and a sentiment from the Square Sayings set. The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the ever-so-useful You set.

And my second card, also has a peeping critter...

The simple front of this card is meant to draw the recipient's attention straight to the inside where there's a fun sentiment. :)

Kristina Werner's Furry Cat and Box stamp is just TOO cute for words. I stamped it on some ribbed kraft card to give added texture. The sentiment on the front is from the Handwritten Sentiments set, and the 'Surprise' is from the You set.
