Smile Crocodile

Hi. I'm thrilled to have a card over on the Hero Arts blog today. And it's a silly one. :)

For this card, I used Hero Arts 'Crocodile' Silhouette downloadable cutting file. Isn't he CUTE! I paired him with a sentiment created with THESE alphabet stamps, and added him to one of Hero Arts new Journaler's Tags. These are super cool. I stamped the kraft tag with the Paint Spots stamp in white ink for a subtle background. The green star paper is from Crate Paper's Party Day pad.

This card was a LOT of fun to make. :)

Studio Calico September Kit Releases

Hello, and welcome to my Studio Calico September Card Kit Post in which I will share all the cards I have created with the awesome 'Double Scoop' kits. It's reveal day today, and kits are available for subscribers now and everyone else, midnight EST tonight. And good news - all the kits are still available!!

This month, I chose to play with the Double Scoop Card Kit, the Card Add On 'Bubblegum' and the Scrapbook Add On 'Waffle Cone'. All are awesome... (please note, links to the kits will only work for non subscribers after midnight EST tonight... you can see sneak peeks HERE)

First a card created just with the Card Kit and two Simon Says Stamp butterfly dies: Chrissy and Paulina.

 

Love the MME cloud paper...

Next, a card featuring the add ons I chose:

 

Brown, white and aqua makes a very pretty color combination I think.

Next, a girly card featuring more of those SSS butterflies...

I used Hero Arts Raspberry Jam ink for the sentiment... LOVE. 

Now a girly card featuring products from Bubblegum...

 

I die cut those sweet butterflies from some leaves in the kit using Simon Says Stamp's Butterfly Tendrils die. And how gorgeous is that washi tape????

Finally, another card kit only card... I just could not resist this combination of papers... The elephant is from Hero Arts Baby Motifs die set.

And that's all...

You Make Me Smile

Hello!

Here's a happy card, created with a camera cut from one of Amy Tangerine's 6 x 6 papers, cool polka dot paper from THIS pad, and a fun custom sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's You stamp set.

Although you can't see it, I added loads of Glossy Accents to the camera lens for added shine. Love Glossy Accents...

Sparkly Birthday

I'm here today with a VERY sparkly card featuring lots of lovely Hero Arts products.
First up, I stamped the Tiny Heart Background in embossing ink on white paper, then added sparkly embossing powder and heat set. Finally, I inked the paper with Tattered Rose distress ink.
I die cut a tag (using THIS die) from a scrap of patterned paper then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and image, both from Hero Arts' Sparkle Birthday set. I added Star Dust Stickles to the sparkler, and finished off with some ribbon and sequins.

In real life, this is even more shimmery and shiny. :)
