News, winner AND A CARD!

Hi. Me again...
So, I am back with 3 things.

NEWS:
I am sure those of you who have followed my blog for a long time may have been able to guess the reason for my 3 month absence from the card making world... so yes, I can confirm that I am pregnant! Yay! Baby No. 2 is due January 2nd which seems a long way away, but also scarily close. I am 20 weeks, so half way there! It's been a rough few months but I am all better now, and VERY excited for the future. We have not found out the sex, we like surprises too much!
I hope that explains my prolonged absence! :)

A CARD
And finally, a CARD. A real, actual, just-made-it-last-night card! I've ben itching to use all the new Simon Says products, and finally found the creative energy to put them to use. I actually made 5 cards yesterday. My first creations in 3 months. A good day!!!
So, for this card I used the new Leaf Column and Leaf Column Outline dies. I coloured each petal with my Inktense pencils, washed over with water then added some Stickles. Then I added the outline die cut on top. The sentiment is from the Petal Pieces set. Something simple to get me started again. :)
