Reindeer Gift Tags

So I had a project over at Hero Arts yesterday. A fun one. :) Did you see it?

These cute reindeer tags were so super easy to make - just a cute Silhouette cut file (AND this Baby Reindeer is on sale for $0.50!), some cardstock and a few ribbon scraps, wiggle eyes and gemstones and you have a batch of unique tags in no time.

I added a few extras to some of the tags too…

And then I put one on a card. Because… why not? :)

Blue Note Cards - Post 2

Here are some more cards created with Studio Calico's newest kits - Blue Note.
This month I played with the Card Kit and two add ons - Sinatra and Bennett.
This card was created with just the Sinatra Add On… love this add on - I think it was my fave kit this month - probably because of those cute wood veneer faces.

 

Just look how cute… :)

And then this card that was created just with the Bennett Add On. Unfortunately this Add On is now sold out.

So many pretty things in this kit too...

And finally, a card that uses elements from multiple kits:

Studio Calico Blue Note Cards - Post 1 (and some news)

Hello!

It's time to check out Studio Calico's newest kits - Blue Note!! They are GORGEOUS.
For subscribers they are available NOW, but for everyone else, check back at midnight EST (or tomorrow). Then the links to the kits in my post will be live. 

The card kit has some super fun stamps in, and the digital kits are especially fab - I used them a LOT and went Silhouette crazy!

So today I thought I'd share some Card Kit only cards, and a couple of cards created with the cool digital files and my Silhouette.

So first, 2 cards made with just the Card Kit. Love these sweet candles...

 

I stamped them in Hero Arts inks (see supplies at the end of the post) and added some glitter.

 

And this one…

I created an acetate pocket using some packaging from the kit then added some of the white stars and LOTS of Calico Shine Mister Huey's.

Cute little stars...

And then 2 Silhouette cards…
Here I used my new favourite product - Double Sided Adhesive for the Silhouette. It's awesome. I was able to create these letter stickers using a stamp from the Card Kit Digital Stamp Set and the Joy Cut Files. And it's so super thin it's almost invisible. LOVE.

I used 5 colours of Doodlebug Sugar Coating here - this is my favourite glitter. Super fine and yummy colours.

  

For this one, I used digital stamps from the Card Kit Digital Stamp Set and created some stencils using Silhouette Software… such fun. I love the Neon Pink Mister Huey's. :) 

 

I cut another snowflake from Double-Sided Adhesive and added more lovely Doodlebug glitter. :)

Sadly and for a number of reasons, I have decided to step down from the Studio Calico team next year. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank SC for having me this year - it's been a blast. I am sure you can tell how much I have enjoyed the kits judging by the amount of cards I have made. :)
