Thank You Flowers

Hello, I'm back with another card created with some yummy Simon Says Stamp's Valentine's release products.  Today's card features the pretty Heart Flowers die. For this card, I die cut the flowers from some rustic cream card and some patterned paper from American Crafts' Mayberry pad, adhered the yellow hearts on top of the cream ones then added Rock Candy Stickles and glitter. The sentiment is from my favourite Perfect Love stamp set.

Oh I do so love Rock Candy glitter...

Lucy's Cards Sketch Week - Day 5

It's the final day of my sketch week. And today I have a sketch with some stitching!! Don't be afraid though - you can interpret this how you wish. :)

 

For my version of the sketch, I used a Silhouette cut file called 3 Chick Border. I cut my chicks from some Papertrey Ink patterned paper, then added a sentiment from Mama Elephant's Nursery Deco stamp set.

 

Gotta love wiggle eyes, right? ;)

Lucy's Cards Sketch Week - Day 4

Hello.

It's Day 4 of my sketch week. And today I have another tag sketch for you.

And here is my card - it's another masculine card. These CAS sketches work well for masculine designs. Less clutter. :)
For my card, I used a stamp from Hero Arts Father's Day set, and a cute bow tie from Studio Calico's Atlantic collection. The tag is from THIS awesome Hero Arts tags set.

Lucy's Cards Sketch Week - Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of my Sketch Challenge week. Today's sketch calls for a shaped card. The triangle is just an example… you could go with any shape.

For my card, I used THIS Silhouette cut file to create a baby romper shaped card. I added a little bear from Simon Says Stamp's Circle Friends set, and a sentiment from their Envelope Sentiments set.

Can you see the bear's little shiny nose?? Lots of Glossy Accents of course - perfect for animal noses.

Lucy's Cards Sketch Week - Day 2

Hello, and welcome to my 2nd sketch challenge.

Today's sketch is another clean and simple one.

Interpret it as you wish. :)

 

And for my literal interpretation… I used journaling cards from THIS set, and added some Kelly Purkey stickers spelling 'Husband', a little stamped couple (created by masking a stamp from THIS set) and a little wooden arrow. I then created a pocket so I could add a secret message…  

And here's my hidden surprise…

The lovely woodgrain paper is from THIS Amy Tangerine pad. Perfect for masculine cards.
