Scrap paper butterflies

Today I have two cards to share that I created with leftover scraps of patterned paper from my Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit. (The papers are from THIS amazing 6 x 6 pad. Might have to buy another…)  Anyway, I always get left with small pieces of papers after making cards, and I usually keep them in a (huge) bag to be used one day… but this time I decided to use them up straight away!  So I grabbed Clearly Besotted's Elegant Butterflies dies and Fabulous Fuchsias stamp set (my current fave sentiment stamps) and created this pair of super simple cards.

Love the bright colours of this paper pad...

And that glitter paper in the kit is irresistible. This I need it in veery colour they have. :)

Oh how I love butterflies.

And that's it. A ton of April Card Kit inspiration for you.
What are you planning with your kit?
Hope you have a lovely weekend (just in case I don't pop in…).
I have BIG crafty plans… more to come on that soon. :)

Such a simple way of doing it, and yet it´s such a gorgeous card. Sometimes the most obvious is really the most beautiful in the end, and this is certainly a good example of that, I must say.

I so love your sewing on cards. It's gorgeous, and you really make me look at my product and see what I could stitch over. I still use your sewing around the card with a zig zag tutorial, adds such a nice finish around a card. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
