Hello.
The week, I have a LOT to share with you. My April Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp arrived on Thursday, and I got busy yesterday (thanks to my mother-in-law visiting and babysitting!!) and managed to make 10 cards. Yay!!
This kit is a great one - it contains enough material to make a LOT of cards, and the colours work for both masculine and feminine cards. I love that…
So, today I have a trio of masculine cards to show you, all made entirely with items from the kit (plus inks and a tag die).
First up, a card that features the fab metal embellishment in the kit. I used Clearly Besotted's Rounded Tag Die to cut a couple of tags, then added the adorable sentiment, the lightbulb and a couple of extra sentiments cut from one of the sheets of patterned paper.

Such a quick and easy card.

And next, a CAS love card. For this card, I stamped the heart on one of the ampersand squares from the paper pad and cut it out. This enabled me to make a full sentence on my card. Fun. :) I added the message to kraft card splattered with Calico White Mister Huey's.

I love the graffiti style that ink splatters create…

And my final card for today…
I created a mini art gallery by hand cutting some of the frames from one of the sheets of patterned paper. Super simple.

I "hung" my pictures using some silver metallic thread. This was less simple. ;)

OK - so that's all for today, but come back tomorrow for more ideas on how to use your kit.
And if you are not a subscriber to the SSS Card Kits, I encourage you to try them out. They really are awesome value for money (and that's my own honest opinion!)…
P.S. Just wanted to add something. A while ago (i.e. about a year ago) I purchased a Martha Stewart Scoring Board. It has been sitting unopened in my cupboard all this time. Well, I finally opened it, and guess what… it is AWESOME. I WISH I'd opened it a year ago. A highly recommended product, and a LOT better than anything else I have tried. :) Just sharing the good product love...
