Hello!
Today I am sharing a card I created for Mama Elephant's current challenge. The prize is awesome… a 6 month term on the Mama Elephant Challenge DT. Amazing, right?
The challenge is simple - create a card inspired by this gorgeous photo:
I was inspired by the lovely combination of aqua and white, plus the bath salts immediately made me think of Rock Candy Distress Glitter. Yum.
For my card, I used the cute teddy from Mama Elephant's Nursery Deco set and a sentiment from Up and Away. I added a little smile to the teddy so it matched the sentiment :) And wiggle eyes… because I love them. :)
The side panel is created with a portion of Simon Says Stamp's Repeated Hearts stencil, to which I added white embossing paste and Rock Candy glitter.
I also added some glitter to my teddy's tummy.
I love Mama Elephant's stamps - they are just my cup of tea. Cute and happy. Still waiting for their amazing Panda set to be in stock somewhere… :)
Bye for now.

ReplyDeleteADORABLE take on the inspiration photo, Lucy! Love the glittered stripes and how you added the smile to the bear!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! They would be the winners to have you on their DT - good luck. Lucy!
ReplyDeleteAwww! This is such a sweet card! I love this little bear. I've never thought of giving him googly eyes. :-) That little line of stitching is perfect, as are the sparkly stripes. The pandas came home to me recently - I love them as much as I love this bear. ;-)
ReplyDeleteStunning (as always) Lucy!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see you showcasing Mama Elephant stamps so fingers and toes crossed for you but don't think you need it.
