Create a Smile Blog Hop (and a winner)

Hello and welcome to the Create a Smile blog hop.
If you have not come from Linda Trace's blog, then I recommend you head to the start of the hop HERE.
Create a Smile is a brand new stamp company that is opening its doors TODAY. And they are releasing two adorable sets.
Here's what they have to say:
Create a Smile is a new stamp company in town, located in Germany!
When Christine Drogt started illustrating and sharing images with friends, it soon became crystal-clear that those images would make awesome clear stamps.  Because Christine has always loved to make people smile (it can be as easy as smiling at strangers!) the name was found quickly (thanks to her friend Alison!) and the vision became reality.
Create A Smile stamps are made of high quality photo-polymer and produced in Germany. They will for sure make you smile!
We’re thrilled you are joining us as we begin this great adventure! We truly love the fantastic paper-crafting community (YOU!) and are so excited to be bringing something new to you all!

Create a Smile sent me the digital versions of the stamps to play with, and I created three cards to share with you today.
First, a couple of cards using the sweeter than sweet Friends in the Wood set. These animals are just my cup of tea. Love them all. So first I made a card using three of them side by side. :)

I created my sentiment digitally, using THIS cute free font. (Have you seen my Fonts Pinterest board?? Lots more fonts there). I added Glossy Accents and Wink of Stella to all the animals for a bit of interest. Oh, and wiggle eyes of course. :) I mounted the panel onto some Corrugated cardstock for a bit of masculine texture. :)

I made a similar card for my hubby - he loves red squirrels so I printed the little guy onto some Papaya cardstock then aded some strips of orange glitter cardstock to match. That ribbed kraft card… I love it for masculine cards.

See his cute little shiny nose?

And finally, a card created with the Comfy set.  For this card, I created a faux watercolour look with some fab digital papers from Pink Petticoat printed onto some 'Felt" white textured card. (I get lots of my card from HERE. I've been really happy with the quality and it's recycled too.)

For the cat, I altered the colour of some of the digital paper to black and white, then layered the cat image on top. I was really pleased with the result - it actually looks pretty convincing. :)

So that's it.

I'm not a cat person but of all these great cards I like the third one the best. Perhaps because of the colours. :-)

I already thought these critters were adorable, but the googly eyes sent them over the top in the cuteness catagory! I also like red squirrels, so I enjoyed seeing how you created the card for your hubby. And of course, I have a kitty, so the last card was perfect for me. I am already in love with this line and they have only released their first two sets!
