Simon Says Stamp 'Cold Hands, Warm Hearts' Blog Hop with Giveaway!

Hello, and welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp 'Cold Hands, Warm Heart' blog hop. Today Simon Says Stamp is releasing a new collection of stamps, dies, stencils and extras, and I am joining in with the celebrations. You should have arrived from the blog of my card making idol Debby Hughes. (Boy, does that gal amaze me!!!) If not, head over to the Simon blog and start hopping from the beginning.
My first card features the AWESOME new Line Shapes dies. I adore these… and they are so versatile. I can see myself reaching for them all year round. First, I used some polka dot stamps from the Sweater Words stamp set, stamping them in Green Apple Ink on some Green Apple cardstock. Next, I die cut five trees using the Line Shapes dies. I covered each tree with generous amounts of Wink of Stella glitter, then die cut a matching heart from some glitter card and attached it to one of the trees. I die cut some rustic card with my favourite new stitched frame die from the Bundle of Stitches die collection. (I am just in LOVE with this set!!!!) Then I stamped my sentiment, which is from the Inside Greetings stamp set - isn't this font just gorgeous? I adhered my trees with different thicknesses of foam tape to create a tiered effect.

Love that subtle sparkle…

I decided that one card was not enough for today. ;) So I created another one, this time featuring the Winter Warmth stamp set. A very CAS card here - I simply stamped my gloves on some cute Bo Bunny patterned paper and added Star Dust glitter to the cuffs. I created the snowy background by adding tiny drops of Multi Matte Medium to a die cut rustic card base, then sprinkling more Star Dust glitter on top. The sentiment is also from the Winter Warmth set.  I twisted some twine into a heart shape and adhered it to the gloves.
