Hello!
Today is my second guest design post for The Alley Way Stamps and I have another pair of cards for you. For these cards, I used Petal Pushers and Pick One.
First up, a colourful birthday card featuring lots of the smaller stamps in both sets. I stamped the flowers using a ton of different Hero Arts shadow inks (I use their lovely cubes - such good value and easy to store too) on some recycled cardstock and added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Sending and Wishing set.
Love the way these Hero Arts inks work - they give such a smooth and perfect result.
And my second card…
Here, I stamped the flowers from Petal Pushers on watercolour paper and heat embossed in white. After painting them, I dried with a heat gun, then trimmed and adhered to a die cut panel before adding a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Sending Happy Thoughts set.
I added some droplets of Calico Shine. It looks so pretty on this recycled cardstock.
Thanks to The Alley Way Stamps for having me today. Oh, and be sure to stop by their blog to see what Yana Smakula, January's other guest designer, has created - it's sure to be amazing!!!
Bye for now.

Both are so pretty, love how you "switched gears" - soft and gentle to bright!
I'd love to see your background creation in progress ... I assume you start with the large & move to the smaller. Do you work on the size you are using or a larger size & then trim down. It always takes me several attempts to get a project like this to look the way I want.
Beautifully done The patterned paper you've created should be printed & sold in pads. And you watercolored flower card is simply elegant.
Lucy, this card is just beautiful. I love you clean and romantic style.
I see that you are using the big rectangle from the bundle of stitched shapes dies, Do you by any chance have the Simon Says Stamp Stitched rectangles die and can compare the two? (Just the biggest rectangle of course) - I want to buy on of them and am not sure which one I'll use more. Thank you!!
Wow ! Love your cards especially the second one with the heat-embossed and watercolored flowers. So beautiful !
Two beautiful cards! Seriously, I love the first card with all the mini stamping - at first I thought it was a pp until I read your notes, Annette! This is a winner to me!
Love, love, love, love, love...... FAB!
Simply beautiful writing font on the stamps!
