Congratulations

Hi! And happy Monday.
Today I have another Clearly Besotted card to share with you featuring stamps from the February release . Today I have chosen an image from the cute Wild Thing stamp set. After seeing THIS amazing card by the talented Kristina Werner, I decided to try my hand at some no line watercolouring. And boy is it hard work! This card took longer to make than any card I have ever made! :)
So, I stamped the giraffe in Scattered Straw Distress Ink (after stamping him off once on scrap paper), then watercoloured him with my Winsor and Newton watercolour paints. Three attempts later, and I was just about satisfied. I hand cut him out, and added him to some Simon Says Stamp die cut tags. The sentiment is from THIS very very useful set. Love it and use it all the time!
Congratulations by Lucy Abrams
The text and heart papers are from THIS Pebbles pad, and the striped paper is from THIS Echo Park pad. And I added some delicious Lawn Fawn silver cord and a tiny ribbon bow.

If you like the looks of this fun technique, I really recommend Kristina's video HERE. She rocks.
Back tomorrow. See you then.
