Easter Blessings

Hello!

Today I have a super shimmery card for you! I wanted to try out the white pearly watercolour from my new Gansai Tambi watercolour set and chose the beautiful new Artful Flowers from Simon Says Stamp as my test case. :)

After stamping and embossing in white, I painted them heavily with the pearl paint then dried with a heat gun. Then I added the yellow centres. I added a sentiment from the Rejoice set and a tiny heart, which I stamped and embossed on vellum for added softness. Finally I stitched the vellum panel to some paper from American Crafts' Serendipity pad.

When it catches the light, the shimmer is really beautiful.

The Gansai Tambi watercolours are certainly the best I've ever tried in terms of rich intensity of colour. And the addition of shimmery and metallic colours too is fantastic!
