Husband, Anchor

Hello.
Just popping in to share the news that I have an article and 6 cards on 'quiet space' featured in Issue 135 of Simply Cards and Papercrafts. This issue was released yesterday, so I've not yet received my copy, but I'm excited to see...
Here is one of the cards I have in the magazine. I went with a masculine theme for all my cards It features papers from Webster's Pages Sprinkled with Love paddie cuts shapes and alphabet stickers, Pink Paislee's Solstice collection, and a sentiment stamp from Clearly Besotted.

Celebrate!

I'm back with another card created with Simon Says Stamp's April Card Kit. Today's card showcases a couple of the gorgeous rub ons from the kit, the cute balloon stamp and the lovely washi tape. I used Simon's Mint Ink to stencil a grid background onto some of the Mint Card, then stamped my balloons in Mint to match.

I added some tiny stars to my balloons, and they catch the light beautifully. And aren't these rub ons incredible - such good quality, and I love the fonts...

OK - that's all for today.

Yay!

Hello!
Today I have a card created with Simon Says Stamp's April Card Kit. This month's kit is super bright and vibrant, and has a fabulous birthday sentiment stamp set called Big Birthday Wishes. I'm always in need of more birthday cards, so got to it right away. :)
This card was created with a bit of almost everything in the kit. I just added a few tiny star sequins. Yay by Lucy Abrams
And see how the gorgeous Bazzill gold foiled cardstock catches the light… yum.

I have another card to share later this week. I hope you pop by then to see…
Until then, enjoy your day.
Bye

Keep Smiling

Today I have a super bright card to share with you, and it features a bit of a different type of shaker element.
To create it, I used the fabulous Big Hugs die from Simon Says Stamp, a sentiment from the new Hand Lettered Encouragement set, fun Avery Elle papers, and my own Rainbow Sparkly Shaker Selection.
Instead of the usual shaker, I actually added a load of Multi Matte Medium to the background paper, then added my shaker material all over it, pressing it down so it stuck to the paper. Instead of all the shaker contents hiding at the bottom of the card, they fill it. And I added some extra before sealing it up to make sure it still shakes!!

Baby Ellie

OK - so I know I'm inundating you with baby cards… but I have too many cute animal stamps that need love. :)
Today's card features an elephant from WPlus9's ADORABLE Unforgettable stamp set and a sentiment from Hero Arts Congrats Stamp and Cut set. That awesome background paper is from Lawn Fawn's Beachside pad. Oh how I wish they would make a whole pad of these tiny stars in every colour… I'd buy several hundred of them. :)

I used a Mama Elephant frame die to cut the scallop edges of the patterned paper. I do think scallops look cute on baby cards. :)

That's it today. I hope you have a lovely day.
Bye for now.
