Wonderful Mother

Hello!
I am back with my second sneak peek at the new Clearly Besotted stamp and die sets. The set I chose to showcase today is called Just Darling. And it is beautiful. Lovely images, and sweet sentiments to match.
I decided to create some pink irises. Not sure how realistic they are, but as my mother's favourite colour is pink, it seemed fitting. :) I watercolured them with my Gansai Tambi watercolours, mixing together a red shade with some pearly white. The base is some Fog card stock from Simon Says Stamp, and I added a strip of Pebbles paper and some gorgeous Moonshine sequins.

    Thanks Cynthia. I use white thread in the bobbin. It's much easier, as I don't keep having to change it to match. This card actually has white thread not silver, although I do often use silver thread. I think the light has made it look silver.
