Hello!
Have you seen the beautiful May Simon Says Stamp Card Kit yet? Well, it was released yesterday, and mine happened to arrive yesterday too. Yay! So, once my babies were asleep last night, I just HAD to have a play. I love the wedding theme of the kit as I adore making wedding cards, but I decided to show you the kit's versatility and make a non wedding card instead. I used some of the gorgeous My Mind's Eye papers, which I die cut with Simon's Butterflies dies, then created a sentiment by masking a stamp from the fab Congratulations stamp set from the kit (love love love this set - more to come with it soon), and some of the lovely gold foil alpha stickers.
For extra dimension, I actually die cut three butterflies - two black and one pink - then layered them together with foam adhesive so the pink one is only just visible. Then I added some of the gorgeous My Mind's Eye stickers and some gold thread.
So much gorgeousness in one kit! Love everything in it. And there's also a brand new shade of Simon ink in the kit - yummy Pale Blush Pink: a truly peachy pink that is absolutely delicious.
Here's the kit, in all its beauty:

Ok - that's all for today but I have another kit card to share with you very soon - and it's another non-wedding card. :)
I hope you're having a great week. We are!
Bye for now.
