Get Well Flowers

Hi!
Today's card features two tiny flower stamps from Simon Says Stamp's new Cone Building stamp set. I wanted to use these tiny stamps to create a whole background, so I stamped them in Duckling, Melon, Roise Cheeks and Hollyhock inks on some smooth white cardstock. Next, I added dots, using the full stop stamp from the Grunge Alphabet set. Once dry, I added a sentiment from Avery Elle's gorgeous  Get Well set, then die cut with a Mama Elephant frame die and stitched the edges.

Very very simple, but I love creating my own patterned papers in this way. I can use just the colours I want!!Get Well Soon 2 by Lucy Abrams
OK. That's all for today. :)
Thanks so much for visiting. You rock.

Birthday Ice Cream

Hello.
Have you seen the gorgeous new inks from Simon Says Stamp. In their latest release, they added 12 new colours to their collection, and they are gorgeous.
My card today features 7 of the inks along with fun ice cream stamps from the Cone Building stamp set - from bottom to top I used Duckling, Melon, Rosie Cheeks (my fave!!), Hollyhock, Wisteria, Blue Jay and Jellybean. After stamping, I die cut my ice cream using the matching dies, then added them to a tag with a sentiment from the Happy and Smile stamp set. Oh, and I gave my cone a little face too. :)

The fun background paper is from American Crafts High Five pad.

Lily decided this card was for her straight away! She loves ice cream and rainbows… :)
OK, that's all for today. Have a lovely day.

Sail Away...

Hi! And Happy Sunday.
So I have FINALLY had some crafting time this weeks, and my first appointment was with Simon Says Stamp's July Card Kit. I am sure you've already seen a load of projects made with this kit as I am a bit late with my projects this month, bit if you've not yet seen it, it's a lovely nautical themed kit with some lovely soft blue and grey patterned papers.
My card features some of the Authentique papers, a sentiment from the Sailing stamp set, and the fab anchor paper clip from the kit.

To keep my anchor in place, I stapled it with my Tiny Attacher.

OK - I'll be back again tomorrow. Lots to share this week. Yay!
Bye for now, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Little Baby Boy - and giveaway news!

Hello!
Sorry for my absence recently… I've just returned from an amazing fortnight in Canada. I'm rather behind with card designs but will be on the case this weekend, I promise. :)
Today I have a shaker card to share with you, and news of a Shaker Selection giveaway. Stay tuned. :)
This card features cute Hero Arts stamps - the cute baby bunny is from their Baby Animals set, and the sentiment is from their Little One set. The shaker window is filled with bits and pieces from my Sweet Pea Shaker Selection - I just removed the pink sequins to make it suitable for a baby boy.
