Hoppy Birthday

Hi!
Today I'm over on the Hero Arts blog, sharing another cutesy animal card (because I cannot get enough of all their adorable new animals stamps!) They have just launched a new Tic Tac Toe challenge on the Hero Arts blog and my card fits in with the challenge… head HERE to take a look at the challenge details.
So, for my card, I first created my background by applying Translucent Embossing Paste to the Criss Cross Stencil on Carnation paper. Next, I stamped the Baby Animals bunny on some grey card, and again on patterned paper along with the bunting. I die cut a Large Tag, then added all the stitching, along with the sentiment from the awesome Animal Messages set and some sparkle twine. Then I assembled it all together.

Isn't that stencilled background just fab - it's so shiny. I also added some Wink of Stella glitter to the flags and T-shirt. Subtle shimmer. :)

Head over HERE if you want to see full instructions on how I made the card.
Bye for now.

I haven't used embossing paste yet, but I'm interested. I've never seen the translucent type used before (that I've been aware of), and I'm really liking the look! I also need to tell you that I'm a huge fan of your sequin mixes – they are totally luscious! You photograph them beautifully, and they're even better IRL – thank you for creating those bits of magic for us to enjoy!
