Today it's reveal day for Simon Says Stamp's August Card Kit. For a long time, I have wanted to create a card using a bit of EVERY item in a Simon kit. And this time I did it. Woo hoo…
So, the focal point of my card is the cute October Afternoon stickers, which I embellished with some of the tiny Martha Stewart confetti pieces. (Oh how I love them…). I popped up one of the clouds using some of the foam tape squares. Next, I stamped the Hello sentiment onto some of the grey card, then coloured it in with the Gelly Roll pen. I die cut the word Sunshine three times from some of the Ivory card then adhered them together. I added more Gelly Roll glitter to the die cut before adhering it to the card. Finally, I added a strip of one of the Simple Stories patterned papers to the side. Hooray!! Full house. :)
Love the subtle shimmer the Gelly Roll gives. It looks fab on the grey card.
