Today I have a bit of sparkle for you courtesy of some fun products from Simon Says Stamp and Clearly Besotted.
I love this adorable bee stamp from Clearly Besotted's new Cute as a Bug stamp set, and wanted to create a fun card with one of my favourite sentiment sets - Simon's Happy and Smile. I altered the 'Be' to 'Bee' with a little stamp surgery. Simple. I added my scene to the inside of a Stitched Square, hoping it looked a bit like a scene through a window. :)
I added some Star Dust Stickles to my bee's wings and some of my own clear sequins (available HERE at SSS) for extra sparkle. All the papers are from American Crafts' High 5 pad. I used my sewing machine to make the bee's trail, then went though each hole with a large needle to make them rounder and slightly bigger.
Well, it's Friday. And that makes me VERY happy.

Oh my gosh - so sweet!
Love this new CB stamp set, too. Also, love the little details of this card, the flight trail, the sparkly wings and pink cheeks. All make this a very special project.
