Today I have a floral card for you featuring the new Beautiful Friend stamp set. Clearly Besotted design the most AMAZING floral sets, and this set is no exception. This gorgeous blossom image is simply stunning. I stamped it onto kraft card and coloured with Prismacolor pencils. They work so beautifully on kraft card. I confess, originally, this were going to be a one layer kraft card… but I messed up the sentiment. So instead, I cut out my flowers - they had taken AGES to colour after all and I was NOT going to waste them - and I added them to some Fancy Pants striped paper. The sentiment (from the same stamp set) was stamped and heat embossed on vellum for a subtle look to keep the focus on the flowers. The finished card looks completely different to what I intended, but is still quite pretty I think.
Kraft paper absorbs Prismacolors so beautifully… I love this look.
