Hello, Beautiful!

Hello and happy Friday. Yay!

Today I have a card to share that I made with the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. Unfortunately, this kit has now sold out, but the products I used are available separately, and I know many of my readers are subscribers too. :)

I chose to use the gorgeous patterned paper from Crate Paper's Hello Love collection as my backdrop - isn't it so beautiful. I added a die cut tag and stamped the fab sentiment from the Hello Beautiful stamp set, then embellished with some matt black sequins from my Midnight Shaker Selection and a bit of black silk ribbon.

Sweetheart Shaker

Hello again.

Today I am sharing a happy shaker card that I created with products from the Simon Says Stamp February Card kit, a cute mouse stamp from Mama Elephant's Lunar Animals set, and my new Fairy Dust Confetti Mix.

 

I really love this adorable sweetheart sentiment from Simon's Hello beautiful stamp set - isn't the handwriting gorgeous? I thought it was a great match to this adorable Mama Elephant mouse. I cannot resist mouse stamps. :) I die cut a tag from watercolour paper, stamped and embossed the sentiment and mouse, then watercolored with my Gansai Tambi paints.  To make the background, I stitched acetate to some pretty Crate Paper paper, leaving an opening. I filled it with my new Fairy Dust Confetti Mix, then stitched up the gap.

I love making girly cards like this. :)

You're the Bestest Card Set

Hi.

Today I have a clean and simple card set on the Hero Arts blog featuring some of their lovely new products.

To make the cards, I first die cut the word 'Love' from the Love Stamp & Cut set, then adhered it to some white card. I stamped sentiments from You are My Happy, and added a butterfly from the Mason Jar Bugs set. I stamped the butterflies again on some Fancy Pants Happy Place patterned paper, cut out the wings and adhered them to the card.

I added a touch of Wink of Stella to the butterfly, and a pierced trail created with my sewing machine.

It took just a few minutes more to make three of these cards than it did to make one. And now I have extra cards to send. Yay for making in duplicate... I hardly EVER manage that!!

A pretty mother of pearl mix made up of 7 different sequins - 8mm, 6mm, 5mm, 3mm and stars - along with lovely cream seed beads.

A gold version of my Diamond Ring Shaker Selection, this mix contains 4 different sequins (5mm, 4mm and 3mm in size) along with 6mm star sequins, confetti hearts and stars and beautiful bugle beads.

A love themed selection made up of pink sequins, tiny cupped flower sequins, two sizes of iridescent heart, iridescent dots and clear bugle beads.

This mix is made up of 3mm clear iridescent dots, tiny clear iridescent hearts and clear glitter.

I'm Here for You Shaker Card

Hello!

Today I have a simple shaker card created with a few Simon Says Stamp and My Mind's Eye goodies.  I die cut a heart from a My Story Journaling Card, backed it with acetate, then stamped a sentiment from I See You and added the Painted Hugs die cut from black card. I created a pile of sequins from my Icicle Sequin Mix on a patterned paper panel die cut with a Stitched Rectangle then adhered the journaling card on top with foam tape.

I love this sentiment stamp... And can you tell how addicted I am to all Simon's painted word dies. :)
