Hello, and happy Monday.
Today, Hero Arts has released their January My Monthly Hero kit, and I am joining in a blog hop to celebrate. This month's kit is love themed and is perfect for Valentines and friendship cards. You should have arrived from Yana Smakula's blog. If not, head to the Hero blog to start at the beginning.
My card today features stamps, dies and extras from the kit and the add on die set... I simply stitched acetate to some of the card from the kit, filled it with sequins, then adhered to a Snow folded card. I added a vellum sentiment strip and the die cut Valentine from the add on die set.
And those sequins... they are an exclusive Shaker Selection I designed for the kit. So very excited and honoured to be a part of this fab kit. :)
Want a closer look at the kit's contents? It's great value at $29.99. Warning: these kits are limited availability and tend to sell out fast...
And the die add on kit includes the Valentine's word die and a set of mini hearts. See it HERE.
I created a couple more cards with the kit which have been shared on the Hero blog over the last few days. I thought I'd share them here too.
First, a simple watercoloured friendship card... (more details HERE)
And next, another shaker. (More details HERE.)

Your cards are GORGEOUS, Lucy!!! Love how simple they are, nice designs, pretty colors and sequins. :-D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! Gorgeous sequin mixes! Love your sequins. I have been coveting them for quite some time. But I have a question about the big shaker card, if you would be so kind as to respond. (It might be a silly question though!) Presumably you have to stop the stitching part of the way around to fill the card with the sequins. How do you stop and start again so the stitches match up? And associated threads? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
