Today I have a final card created with the April Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. This one features stickers and paper from the kit, along with my I Love You Confetti Mix (also available HERE at Simon Says Stamp).

 

To create my card, I first trimmed down some of the Simple Stories patterned paper, then stitched acetate on top, leaving an opening. I filled the pocket with my I Love You Confetti Mix then stitched up the gap. I adhered this to a white notecard then embellished with Simple Stories stickers which I applied with foam tape.

Simple to make but fun and sparkly for the recipient.

Hello Hearts

Today I am sharing another Simon Says Stamp Card Kit card, created with their fun April kit. This card features some fun and simple layering...

To make the card, I first die cut two hearts from some of the Simple Stories patterned paper using Simon's Heart Duet dies. I layered them up, adding some of the coordinating stickers, some thread, a little Wink of Stella glitter, and a sparkly sequin. I trimmed down some polka dot paper, added stitching to one side, then adhered to a strip of stripy paper. I just love the eclectic mix of patterns here - such fun. Finally, I adhered the panel to a notecard, and added my layered heart with foam tape.

These kits are always so beautifully coordinated and considered. So much possibility...

Floral Hello

Hi!

Today I have a card to share with you that I created with the April Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. This kit is a really colourful one, and features some fun products by Simple Stories.

Here, I created a stamped background using two of the flower stamps in the Birthday Flowers stamp set from the kit along with a number of Simon inks - Duckling, Melon, Sunkist and Apricot. I added the Hello sticker from the Life in Color set, some stitching and thread and a couple of my own clear sequins to finish. Finally, I adhered the panel to some of the red patterned paper from the kit.

I have more cards to share created with this kit over the coming days - it's a fun one for sure.
