I hope you had a good weekend.
Today I have a fun card for you featuring some Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp products.
This new Happy Sunshine Plush die from Simon Says Stamp makes a very cute sun... but when I saw it, I wanted to create a shaped card with a superhero theme - I thought it looked like something from a comic strip. So I die cut it from Cotton Candy cardstock, then again from acetate. I stitched the acetate one on top of the Cotton Candy one using crochet thread, left an opening, and filled it with some of my Princess Shaker Selection. Next, I stamped the super bunny and sentiment from Clearly Besotted's Caped Cuties set on white card, coloured with Copics and cut them out. I adhered them on top of the acetate.
Finally, I die cut another sunshine from white card, scored it at the side and adhered it behind the pink one. This creates a fun, shaped folded card. My daughter loves it. :)
I love thinking of ways of stretching my supplies. :)

Great idea for using your die. A full shaker card is a wonderful thought. Particularly love the colours you've used. :)
