A Little Bit of Sunshine

Hello!

Sorry it's been a bit quiet again round here - life is so busy right now.

But I am here today with a fun full card shaker created with some Simon Says Stamp goodies and one of my own shaker mixes.

To create this card, I first created a full card shaker with some yummy MFT heart paper and my I Love You Confetti Mix. I simply stitched acetate to the paper round three sides of the rectangle, filled with the confetti, then stitched up the final side. I adhered this to a white notecard. Next, I stamped the sunshine sentiment from Simon's Birthday Flowers set in black ink and trimmed it out. Then, I inked some white paper with the same black ink, then while still wet I sprinkled it with Simon's Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set. Finally, I die cut the Painted Friend from the embossed piece and adhered both sentiments to the card.

So much sparkle. :)

Hi.

Just dropping in on this beautifully sunny Friday to share a few bits of news...

Hi.

Today I have a wedding shaker card to share with you featuring a mix of Simon Says Stamp products. I wanted to create something classic and not too girly... so decided to stick to a simple grey / silver and white colour combination.

To create the card, I first created a full shaker background with some Echo Park polka dot paper and my Diamond Ring Shaker Selection. I adhered the background to a white notecard. Next, I die cut a Stitched Oval from some Fancy Pants paper, and stamped the sentiment from Simon's Congratulations set. I die cut a Church from the same polka dot paper, backed the windows with vellum for a softer look, and adhered to the oval with foam tape. Finally, I adhered the oval to the card.

This card was pretty hard to photograph and looks darker than it does in real life. It's super sparkly... but that's hard to tell here. Silver does not photograph so well.

Birthday Shaker

Happy Weekend!

Today I am sharing another card created with the super cute May Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. This card features a stamp from the adorable Happy Days stamp set, along with some of the fab Lawn Fawn patterned paper from the kit. I also added the birthday sentiment from last month's card kit stamp set - Birthday Flowers - and sequins from my Caribbean Dream Shaker Selection.

I added extra sequins to my tag, along with a splattering of Calico Shine Mister Huey's. Still love this stuff... :)

So much sparkle... just how I like it.
