Hero Arts My Monthly Hero May Kit Launch Blog Hop

Hi!
Today I am joining in a blog hope to showcase the May My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts. This month's kit contains fabulous products designed by talented Kelly Rasmussen and is inspired by Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade Kindness campaign.
I decided to make a matching card and gift card envelope for my daughter's teacher using the main kit, and the Thank You Pair Fancy Dies add on
You Make a Difference Set 1 by Lucy Abrams
To create my card, I first stamped the 'You Make a Difference' message repeatedly on some of the blue card in the kit using Tide Pool Ink. I added hearts in the gaps, then die cut the Thank You from the centre of the panel. Next, I stitched the side of the panel before flicking it with shimmery spray and adding some tiny star confetti. I adhered to a Snow Folded Card, then added the tiny bits from the centre of the letters on top.
You Make a Difference Set 2 by Lucy Abrams
To make my envelope, I die cut the envelope from the same blue card in the kit, then assembled it, stitching the edges together to create a pocket. I stamped the sentiment using more Tide Pool ink, then again added mist and stars. Finally, I die cut the word 'You' three times from white card and adhered together. I added this to my envelope then coated with Star Dust Stickles for even more sparkle.

------------------GIVEAWAY------------------
Her Arts are giving away one kit chosen selected at random from all comments on all the blogs on the hop. Make sure you leave a comment here to be entered.
